This mechanism, used directly in the frames of large Japanese mechanisms, adds a zero-wall opening feature to the sofa. The mechanism connects to the profiles and the bottom frame using the same connection holes found in large Japanese mechanisms. Only one hole needs to be added to the bottom frame. With its internal locking latch system, this mechanism eliminates the need to cut the profile edge trim, providing both labor and cost savings. It is used in single, double, and triple sofa models.
