Shock Absorber Base and Chest Mechanisms

It’s used in beds with a bed base system. It allows the bed base lid to open 40 degrees using a gas spring. Gas springs are used with a force between 300 and 1200 newtons. When the bed base lid is opened, the locking system automatically activates, preventing it from closing. To close the lid, lift it about 10 cm, deactivate the lock, and close the lid.
